The first version of the SudLab Monitor was developed in 2020 as a deliverable of the paper “New Possibilities for Energy”. It was presented at the 2024 NETNOCOM, Università del Sacro Cuore, Milano, as an interface of structured data of Netnographic Analysis, contained in a relational database, to inform about compliance crisis on energy distributors and their operations in Brazil and Chile.

But times changed fast. Non-relational databases are the new paradigm; businesses demand the power of symbolic models and the pragmatism of the IA surge.

Since then, considering the new paradigms of Large Language Models and the new context of high volatility of financial indexes, we developed a model that forecasts implicit markets. We evolved SudLab Monitor´s principles to work in edge technology integrated with data sources of choice, even op-amp inputs, as a ways to prove our thesis: AI technology, in order to be feasible and promote real change in organizations, needs reliable data which is treated as an strategic asset, with strict governance, powered by sustainable energy in territorial data centers.
